The short version

Slivr keeps your personal data private by design. Your calendar data never leaves your phone, and we have no account. The only personal data we may receive is a report you choose to send (see below). We do collect anonymous usage analytics and crash diagnostics to improve the app (details below).

Your calendar

Slivr reads your device calendars (read-only) solely on your phone, to detect the free gaps between your events and suggest an activity. This data is processed locally and is never transmitted, stored remotely, or shared.

What we collect

Anonymous product analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU) — such as app opens and which screens you view, tied to a random app-generated identifier, never your name, email or advertising ID — and crash & performance diagnostics (Sentry). Apart from the reports you choose to send, no personal data, no advertising IDs and no calendar content are ever sent. Your calendar, sessions and settings stay in local storage on your device.

Reports you send

From a suggestion card (“Report this suggestion”) or from Settings (“Report a problem or an idea”), you can send us a report. Only what you write leaves your phone, with the category you pick, the email address if you choose to leave one, the app version, the system (Android or iOS), the screen you write from and, for a suggestion, the activity concerned and the length of the free slot. Nothing is sent until you tap “Send”. Where and for how long: the report is received on a JIXTER server hosted in France (OVH). The sender's IP address is not recorded: it is only used, in memory, to limit the number of reports. The report is deleted from this server 90 days after it has been handled. It is copied without your email address to GitHub, Inc. (Microsoft group, United States), under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Without a network connection, the app offers a pre-filled email to contact@jixter.fr instead. You can ask at any time to access or delete a report by writing to contact@jixter.fr.
